Slow Cooker Cheesy Venison Dip

This Slow Cooker Cheesy Venison Dip is the perfect combination of cheese, peppers, and venison creating an easy to make slow cooker dip that everyone will love.

I love to prepare venison recipes because they are much healthier and leaner than beef dishes and can be a delicious replacement for beef in almost any recipe.

When preparing this Slow Cooker Cheesy Venison Dip, you can substitute beef for venison if you choose to and it will sustain the delicious flavor of this slow cooker venison dip.

My favorite kind of recipes are the easy ones and there is nothing like coming home to a marvelous aroma in your kitchen wafting out of a slow cooker letting you know that dinner is done.

It doesn’t get much better than that, a hot and delicious meal ready to enjoy, just waiting for you to dig in!

This is especially easy for me to make because we store our venison in flat 1 pound bags in order to be able to thaw them out in under ten minutes.

We just grab a frozen bag of venison and let it sit in a warm bath for about 7-10 minutes and it is ready to cook.

I always seem to have the rest of the ingredients on hand as well so this is an easy recipe to just throw in the slow cooker and make whenever the craving hits.

This is especially true this time of year with my garden producing so many fruits and veggies it can be really easy to whip up these meals from scratch.

The first step is to brown your venison or beef in a frying pan and then drain the fat before pouring it into a slow cooker.

The next step is to dice the veggies and add the cheese and seasonings into the slow cooker.

Cook on high for about 4-6 hours stirring occasionally to prevent the dip from sticking to the sides of the slow cooker.
